Condition & Grading

What do your condition grades mean?

We grade all vintage items before listing them:

  • Grade A – Excellent vintage condition. May have very minor signs of age (slight fading, soft wash) consistent with the era. No holes, stains, or damage. This is our standard grade unless otherwise stated.
  • Grade B – Good used condition with noticeable vintage wear such as light fading, minor pilling, or small marks. Clearly noted in the product description and reflected in the price.
  • Grade C – We don't sell grade C items.

How do I know the exact condition of an item?

Every listing includes a condition grade and detailed description of any notable wear or flaws. We photograph items flat and/or on a hanger so you can see the piece clearly. If you have specific questions, contact us before purchasing.

Are all items inspected before shipping?

Yes. Every piece is inspected, cleaned, and graded before it's listed or shipped.

Authenticity & Sourcing

Are your items authentic?

Yes — all items are genuine pre-owned or new pieces. We do not sell reproductions or fast fashion. Each piece is sourced and curated individually.

How do you source your pieces?

We source from markets, estate sales, op shops, and trusted wholesale suppliers across Australia and internationally. Every item is hand-selected for quality, character, and style.

Are items one-of-a-kind?

Yes. Once an item sells, it's gone — we don't restock the same piece twice. If you love something, grab it quickly.

Sizing

How do I find my size in vintage clothing?

Sizing runs differently from brand to brand. We recommend measuring yourself or another item of clothing that you own then comparing to the measurements listed on each product page. Check our Sizing Guide for full instructions on measuring chest, length, and sleeve.

What does "recommended size" mean on a listing?

Our recommended size is a modern size equivalent based on the item's actual measurements. For example, a vintage tee labelled XL might fit more like a modern oversized M. Always cross-reference with the measurements provided.

Do items fit true to size?

Rarely. Sizing standards vary by decade and country of manufacture. We strongly recommend using measurements over tag sizes. Our Sizing Guide walks you through exactly how to measure yourself at home.

Do you offer unisex sizing?

Most of our pieces are measured and styled as unisex. Fit notes are included in each listing where relevant.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items that arrive with an undisclosed defect or significant condition issue not reflected in the listing. Because sizing varies, we encourage you to review measurements carefully before purchasing — sizing alone is not grounds for a return. Please contact us before sending anything back.

Do you offer exchanges?

We don't offer direct exchanges as all items are one-of-a-kind. If your item is eligible for a return, we'll issue a store credit or refund so you can choose something else.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your item arrives with damage that wasn't disclosed in the listing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll make it right.

Care Instructions

How should I care for vintage clothing?

Vintage pieces need a little extra love:

  • Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, or hand wash where possible
  • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect prints and fabric
  • Avoid tumble drying — air dry flat or on a hanger to preserve shape
  • Steam rather than iron, especially on printed or delicate fabrics
  • Store folded or hung in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

When in doubt, dry clean only — especially for wool, silk, or heavily embellished pieces.

Shipping & Orders

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. Domestic Australian shipping usually takes 3–7 business days. International shipping times vary by destination. Tracking is provided for all orders.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay. Buy now, pay later options may be available at checkout.
